Kim Kardashian has faced a barrage of criticism since her Met Gala appearance in an unalterable Marilyn Monroe gown following her drastic diet.

The reality personality confessed that she reduced 16 pounds in three weeks to fit into the legendary gown for the glamorous evening.

“I always thought [Marilyn] was really curvaceous,” the Skims founder told Vogue.

“I envisioned myself to be smaller in some areas where she was larger, and bigger in other places where she was smaller.” So when it didn’t fit, I wanted to scream since it [the dress] couldn’t be adjusted in any way,” she continued.

Kardashian stated that she jogged on a treadmill and ate the ‘cleanest veggie and protein’ as part of her’strict’ diet in order to wear a £4 million outfit for only a few minutes.

Fans went to Twitter in response to her dieting revelations, slamming the businesswoman for ‘glorifying’ weight reduction in order to fit into a ‘beautiful outfit.’
