Kim Kardashian talked up about her breakup from Kanye West and how it affected her life in many ways, including her dress choices. Kim admitted to Kourtney on a recent episode of The Kardashians that choosing dresses for herself has been stressful for her, as well as how Kanye reacted to her decision over the phone.

Kim opened up about dressing herself for the WSJ. Magazine 2021 Innovator Awards in the most recent episode of The Kardashians, revealing that it made her “very nervous.” She also mentioned how Kanye outfitted her for the Saturday Night Live segment, but the rapper walked off midway through her speech after taking offence to her part on the show.

“How do I wear something that hasn’t been pre-vetted first?” Kim said to Kourtney about how difficult it was for her to style herself for the Awards. Kim recalled something. “It was difficult psychologically.” Kim eventually wore the latest Fendi X SKIMS ensemble for the event, a dark brown leather dress with matching gloves. “He told me my career was over and then he showed me a picture of Marge Simpson wearing something similar,” Kardashian later recounted of Kanye’s reaction to her decision.

Kim also addressed Kanye after exiting her SNL presentation, saying that she had previously showed him the monologue but that he had never read it. She went on to say regarding their divorce, “Kanye had a hard time with what I said. He’s like, ‘I haven’t signed the divorce papers.'” he says
