The thriller ‘On The Line,’ starring Oscar winner Mel Gibson and directed by him, is planned for a late 2022 release after Saban Films acquired the US rights.

According to Deadline, Gibson plays a radio DJ who is accosted by a belligerent caller in the film.

During the broadcast of ‘On The Line,’ an anonymous caller threatens to kill the host’s whole family. To save his loved ones, the radio presenter must play a one-night survival game in which the only way to win is to figure out who the culprit is.

‘On The Line,’ starring Mel Gibson, is director, writer, and producer Romuald Boulanger’s second movie, following his 2020 breakthrough ‘Connectes,’ according to ‘Deadline.’

Kevin Dillon, Enrique Arce, William Moseley, and Nadia Fares all feature in ‘On The Line.’ The film is now under post-production, with a November 2022 release date planned by Saban Films.
