Queen’s granddaughter Princess came into spotlight after Andrew’s demise
Following the death of her father, Prince Andrew, Princess Beatrice is stepping into the spotlight to assist the Queen.
This spring, the Duke and Duchess of York’s eldest daughter has made a number of public appearances, both solo and with her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi at official engagements.
The 33-year-old princess, who gave birth to her daughter Sienna in September 2021, also attended a garden party at Buckingham Palace as part of a contingent of royals filling in for the Queen, who was unable to attend due to persistent mobility concerns.
This month, she also went to the Chelsea Flower Show with Edo, as well as the Royal Windsor Horse Show for a Platinum Jubilee celebration.
She attended the World Dyslexia Assembly Sweden in Stockholm in April with members of the Swedish royal family.
Beatrice has a reputation for being a reclusive woman, having married in a surprise secret ceremony on July 17, 2020, and apparently had a ‘private christening’ for her daughter earlier this month.
FEMAIL spoke with Ingrid Seward. After Prince Andrew was expelled from the monarchy due to a civil sexual assault case, Beatrice ‘wants to aid her grandmother as much as she can.’
The Queen’s granddaughter is ‘reliable’ and ‘trusted’ by the Firm, according to Angela Levin, royal biographer, and is considered as ‘much more confident’ since receiving her daughter and marrying Edo.
