Season two of Squid Game will be a bloodbath, confirms the director.

In an interview with Vanity Fair, Hwang Dong-hyuk stated that the second season of the show is nothing but chaos.

“Those games will once again put humanity to the test,” he told Vanity Fair.

“I want to ask the question, ‘Is true solidarity between humans possible?” he added.

The creator believes that if the players were supportive of one another, problems among them could be solved.

“I agree that if they were capable of talking to one another and cooperating with one another, there is a possibility that we would have seen more winners,” he added.

Meanwhile, actor Lee Jung-jae told PEOPLE that the upcoming season will be full of surprises.

“I’m hoping for a twist that will be exciting and surprising for both me and the viewers,” Lee said. “It wouldn’t be fun if it was predictable.”

According to reports, the series will premiere on Netflix in 2023 or 2024.
