Similar thefts were reported at other Belk department stores in the area, according to police in Hoover, Alabama.

Four individuals are being sought by Alabama police for allegedly stealing $12,000 worth of handbags from a Belk department store.

On April 20, a gang of four persons worked together to take seven Louis Vuitton purses and one Dior handbag from the Belk department store in Hoover, Alabama, according to the Hoover Police Department.

According to police, the individuals hurried out of the store without paying and fled the scene in a red Hyundai automobile.

The purses are worth $12,000 each.

The police department believes this is the same group of criminals who have committed similar crimes at the area’s Belk department shops.
