Elisabeth Moss is an actress, producer, and director from the United States. She has garnered numerous awards, including three Critics’ Choice Awards, two Golden Globe Awards, two Primetime Emmy Awards, and two Screen Actors Guild Awards.
When the actress from The Handmaid’s Tale met Sandra Bullock, she says she was speechless. On Tuesday’s Watch What Happens Live, the 39-year-old actress told Andy Cohen about an embarrassing incident she had at an award show when Cohen asked, “Have you ever embarrassingly fanned out over another celebrity and deeply regretted the impression you made?”
Moss said, “She’s so cool, and she’s so funny, and we stood backstage next to each other at God knows which thing, and I just stood there and didn’t say anything to her.”
Cohen, 53, reminded Moss that she and Bullock collaborated on the 1990 television film Lucky Chances. Bullock plays Maria Santangelo, the mother of a character played by Moss when he was seven years old.
Moss previously spoke to Vogue about how important the role was in cementing her love of acting “[Bullock’s character] had to be discovered dead in the water. And after that, I was addicted. ‘I adore this!’ I exclaimed. At the time, I took it as seriously as I do now.”
