Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz disclosed surprising facts about their magnificent wedding ceremony, including the fact that David and Victoria Beckham were not the inspiration for their nuptials.

In an interview with Vogue Magazine, the pair said that their wedding was inspired by the 1992 wedding of artist David Bowie to supermodel Iman.

“Their (David and Victoria’s) wedding was beautiful, and those photos are classic,” the actor said to the publication.

“But the wedding that most inspired us was Iman and David Bowie’s,” she continued.

The late singer and the supermodel married in a small ceremony in Florence, Italy. They, like Beckham and Peltz, posed for Vogue on a beach after their wedding.

Peltz went on to say that her hair and cosmetics were influenced by another supermodel, Claudia Schiffer, while her clothing seemed to have been inspired by Iman, since both of them wore arm length gloves.

“The highlight of the whole wedding for me was seeing her for the first time in that dress, It was the first time ever in my life when I felt like I couldn’t catch my breath,” Beckham, who wore a Dior suit like Bowie, said.
