Ali Abbas Zafar is currently busy at work putting the finishing touches on Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, an ambitious action-comedy starring Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff, after directing hit movies like Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, Gunday, Sultan, Tiger Zinda Hai, and Bharat, Now, he has bought the rights to make a new version of The Transporter, a popular movie from Hollywood.

“Ali has been wanting to make The Transporter in Hindi for a while now, and after prolonged discussions with the international studio, EuropaCorp, he has bagged the rights to make it in Hindi for a hefty amount. Ali will be directing the film himself and is excited to write the script for the Hindi-speaking audience,” According to a source familiar with the situation, the filmmaker has acquired the rights for his production company, AAZ Entertainment.

The source continued, “The movie will be made with an A-List actor star of Bollywood. But the casting will be made once Ali is done with the work of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. He has already zeroed in on a couple of names, but it will all eventually boil down to the dates of actors.“

In addition to The Transporter and Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Ali Abbas Zafar is currently working on an untitled action thriller starring Shahid Kapoor. Currently in post-production, a release schedule will be developed soon.
