Ananya Panday is regarded as one of Bollywood’s most promising actresses. Karan Johar’s Student Of The Year 2 was her first film. Punit Malhotra directs the film, which also features Tiger Shroff and Tara Sutaria in prominent parts. She hasn’t looked back since SOTY 2, having proven her acting chops in films like Pati Patni Aur Woh, Gehraiyaan, and others. It’s worth noting that the actress won one of the top awards for her first picture. She had won the award for Best Female Debut at the time. Despite memorising her debut award speech for years, the actress revealed that she forgot it.
“I had practiced it so many times,” The actress told Mumbai Mirror, “but when I went on stage, I forgot everything.” She went on to say, “Winning a Filmfare Black Lady is a big deal for me. My mom was there with me and how I wished dad was there, too. But I gave the trophy to him when I reached home.” She also mentioned during the interview that her father, Chunky Panday, advised her to display the medal in the living room so that everyone could see it.
To be clear, after receiving the award, the actress was overjoyed. Ananya Panday had previously posted a photo of the award on Instagram with the caption, “Thank you and grateful.”
The actress was last seen in Sakun Batra’s Gehraiyaan, for those unaware. Deepika Padukone, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Dhairya Karwa also star in the film. In addition to Naseeruddin Shah and Rajat Kapoor, it featured Naseeruddin Shah and Rajat Kapoor in prominent roles. Ananya garnered a lot of praise for her performance in the movie Gehraiyaan.
Following that, the 23-year-old actress has a number of intriguing projects in the works. Ananya will star alongside Vijay Deverakonda in Puri Jagannadh’s pan-India blockbuster Liger. She’s now shooting for Zoya Akhtar’s Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, in which she’ll appear with Siddhant and Adarsh Gourav.
