“70 years of inspiring so many people! Obviously, this includes me!” “Congratulations to Her Majesty The Queen on The Platinum Jubilee, what an achievement,” she captioned the image.

Netizens, on the other hand, labelled the montage as ‘inappropriate’ and ‘narcissistic.’

According to one social media user, “This is such a narcissistic message! Is it possible to celebrate someone else without celebrating yourself? Amazingly self-centered.”

“It’s inappropriate to make it about oneself,” said another.

“What kind of homage is this? Dumbfounded.” Another chastised the singer-turned-designer, adding, “Don’t compare yourself with photographs like these, that’s not your place and never will be.”
