Despite continued hatred between the two, Lynne Spears insists she only wants her daughter Britney to be “happy.”

In a video acquired by Page Six, a photographer asked Lynne how she was feeling after learning she wouldn’t be allowed to her estranged daughter’s wedding to Sam Asghari as she was leaving LAX on Thursday.

“I just want her to be happy,” replied Lynne, as she walked towards the parking lot.

After their spat over the singer’s controversial conservatorship, Lynne made many attempts to get in touch with her daughter.

“You look radiant and so happy!” Lynne commented. “Your wedding is the ‘Dream’ wedding! And having it at your home makes it so sentimental and special! I am soooo happy for you! I love you!”

Regarding the end of the almost 14-year conservatorship that oversaw the singer’s personal life and estate, Britney cut her relations with the majority of her family.

Britney Spears claimed in a since-deleted Instagram post that although her father, Jamie Spears, may have initiated the conservatorship 13 years prior, it was actually her mother who supposedly inspired him to do so.
