The actor spoke about the prosthetics needed for Thor: Love and Thunder. Christian Bale told the media that the character’s long nails made him unable to do anything. As Christopher Bale stated, “It rendered me completely incapable of everything.” He added, “I was pathetic. I found myself thinking things like, I don’t think I can walk because I’ve got long nails.”

The actor went on to say, “It affected my brain. I was like, ‘I can’t eat, I’ve got long nails.’ I was trying to type. I couldn’t do anything. Fans were shocked when Gorr the God Butcher’s appearance was first revealed. Some people also compared it to Lord Voldemort from the Harry Potter series.

Thor: Love and Thunder is Bale’s MCU debut.  His role as the villain is eagerly anticipated by fans. He’s also played Marvel and DC characters. Christian was Batman in Nolan’s trilogy.
