Cristiano Ronaldo’s partner shares glimpse of family time as they celebrated his son’s 12th birthday in Majorca on Sunday.

On his son Cristiano Jr.’s birthday, the football legend, 37, took a rare detour from training to pay a poignant homage to him.

Ronaldo’s eldest son posed in front of a giant sports-themed cake with a football-themed pattern of white hexagons and a red soccer shirt with the number seven to commemorate his father’s position in the Portugal national team.

Jr could be seen smiling as gold confetti fell over him as he stood next to his cake with green balloons behind him in photos released on Cristiano’s girlfriend Georgina Rodrguez’s Instagram page. .

Georgina, 28, also shared a photo of Cristiano and his kid posing with their other children.

The striker was joined by five-year-old twins Eva and Mateo, who were conceived via surrogacy before Ronaldo met his now-partner Georgina.

Ronaldo’s oldest kid was born in the United States in 2010, but was quickly returned to Madrid to be reared in the Spanish capital. His mother’s identity is unknown.

The family was seen outside eating a birthday supper on a long table with Jr’s friends, delighting in the nice weather.

Currently, the birthday kid is a bright spot in Manchester United’s academy, where he is reuniting with Wayne Rooney’s son, Kai, to recreate his father’s partnership.

Under Sir Alex Ferguson, ‘Ron and Roo’ were a formidable combo for the Reds, winning the Champions League together in 2008.

Cristiano and Georgina announced they were expecting twins in October 2021, however their son died in childbirth on April 18, while their daughter survived.

The couple and their older children came home with their newborn daughter after the stillbirth, just days after the player informed his girlfriend had lost the child’s twin brother.

Cristiano updated his social media accounts shortly after their baby girl was discharged from the hospital.

Ronaldo cradled his daughter in a snapshot shared to his 430 million Instagram followers, joined by his Spanish partner Georgina and their four children.

Captioning the post, he wrote: ‘Home sweet home. Gio and our baby girl are finally together with us. We want to thank everyone for all the kind words and gestures.

‘Your support is very important and we all felt the love and respect that you have for our family. Now it’s time to be grateful for the life that we’ve just welcomed into this world.’

In a beautiful Instagram post last month, Georgina and Cristiano revealed the name Bella Esmeralda for their baby daughter.

Along with three gorgeous images of the tiny one sleeping in her cot, the footballer’s girlfriend shared the name they had chosen.

The photographs, which showed their tot wearing a pink top, a white Moschino number, and a knitted hat and tagging her location as Manchester, showed their tot cracking a smile while wearing a pink top, a white Moschino number, and a knitted hat.

She wrote in her caption: ‘Bella Esmeralda [green heart] 180422.’
