The indie movie “Late Night With the Devil,” which will be helmed by Australian filmmakers Colin and Cameron Cairnes, will star actor David Dastmalchian. In the thriller, Dastmalchian, who is most known for his roles in “The Suicide Squad” and “Dune,” will play a talk show presenter. The movie is reportedly now being filmed in Australia.

According to the plot, “‘Late Night With the Devil’ follows the live broadcast of a late-night talk show in 1977 that goes awry, unleashing evil into the nation’s living rooms.”

Dastmalchian, Rami Yasin, and Australian director Joel Anderson serve as executives.

The film’s release is scheduled for the following year.

Earlier, David Dastmalchian is an American actor. He was born on July 21, 1977, in Pennsylvania and raised in Kansas. He began his film career as a minor character in Christopher Nolan’s hit film The Dark Knight.

Before starting his professional acting career, he worked as a fisherman, circus performer, theatre usher, and playwright. He also struggled with drug addiction before becoming sober.

The story of Polka-Dot Man, played by David Dastmalchian, is central to James Gunn’s film. A large part of why a film like ‘The Suicide Squad,’ which is currently in UAE theatres, works is due to its cast members and how they humanize these anti-heroes.
