This movie is a remake of the popular South Korean film Thadam. The actress and her co-star recently reunited in Delhi to film the same.

A person who is close to the actress reportedly said, “Mrunal Thakur is currently in Delhi shooting for her upcoming crime thriller in which she is playing the role of a cop for the first time ever on screen.

Being the perfect supportive co-star that she is, Mrunal had a reunion with her co-star Aditya Roy Kapur in the capital. Aditya is there to promote his upcoming release and Mrunal wanted to extend her support and cheer on Aditya for his soon-to-release film. In the nation’s capital, actor Aditya Roy Kapur is now doing promotion for the film Rashtra Kavach Om, in which he co-stars opposite actress Sanjana Sanghi.

Speaking about the film Gumraah, which is inspired by real-life occurrences, the suspenseful crime drama will have Aditya Roy Kapur in a double part for the very first time, appearing in two completely distinct guises. Mrunal Thakur will be seen playing the role of a police officer in the film.

In addition to being paired together for the first time, Mrunal also makes his debut in the film in the position of a police officer for the very first time. A dramatic confrontation between Aditya Roy Kapur and Mrunal Thakur is rumoured to play a significant role in this next thriller flick.
