The first official teaser of Dwayne Johnson movie wastes little time in introducing us to Dr. Fate, played by former James Bond actor Pierce Brosnan. The two-minute teaser features Aldis Hodge as Hawkman, Noah Centineo as Atom Smasher, Sarah Shahi as Adrianna, Marwan Kenzari as Ishmael, Quintessa Swindell as Cyclone, and Bodhi Sabongui as Amon, as well as action, comedy, and special cameos from a new league of DC heroes.

He informed fans about the big news and posted a handful of new posters only hours before the trailer’s release, adding, “In ONE DAY. World premiere trailer of #BlackAdam… cool set shot of the man in black, moments before he unleashes 5,000 years of hell.”

‘Black Adam,’ starring Zachary Levi, is a spin-off from Warner Bros. and New Line Cinema’s ‘Shazam!’ Black Adam is one of a number of DC films in the works, including a Shazam sequel, as well as projects starring The Flash, Blue Beetle, and Batgirl.

As a villain corrupted by power, the character originally featured in DC Comics in the 1940s. In the early 2000s, he became an anti-hero.
