However, the reality TV personality appears to be enamored with Tom Cruise’s “Top Gun: Maverick.”

Kim Kardashian uploaded a photo of Cruise on Instagram on Friday, writing, “This is my third time watching Top Gun. “It’s sooo good!”

The 59-year-old Cruise reprises his role as Pete Mitchell, an arrogant Navy pilot who has never advanced in the ranks due to his proclivity for defying authority. Mitchell is tasked with training a cadre of teenage fighter pilots for a particular mission under the code name Maverick.

However, Top Gun: Maverick eclipsed 2005’s The War of the Worlds ($243.3 million) as Cruise’s highest-grossing picture in the United States. This is the highest-grossing film in the franchise, surpassing the original Top Gun ($180.3 million) and Cruise’s Mission: Impossible films, including the most recent, Mission: Impossible — Fallout ($220.2 million).

Top Gun: Maverick has already exceeded the original Top Gun, which earned $176 million before inflation. The United Kingdom is in first position with $39.7 million. In terms of worldwide box office, however, it falls short of other previous Mission: Impossible films. The fact that the sequel will not be released in China or Russia is one of the reasons.
