Is it possible that Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson will rejoin for another film? Director David Cronenberg has an idea, but he believes it will be difficult to bring them together.

It’s been a decade since Stewart and Pattinson starred in the Twilight saga’s fifth and final instalment. The two, who met on the set of the adolescent vampire film, hit it off right away.

Robsten and Spencer dated for a while, but their romance ended after Spencer’s Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders cheated on him. Kristen and Robert were estranged as a result of this. Since then, they haven’t collaborated. Is that, however, about to change?

Director David Cronenberg, who is now working on ‘Crimes of the Future’ with Kristen Stewart, stated to World of Reel that Robert Pattinson was the one who brought the actress to him. On ‘Cosmopolis’ and ‘Maps to the Stars,’ the Batman star collaborated with him. After having the opportunity to work with both of them, David expressed interest in bringing the two back to the screen.

As David Cronenberg said, “I can definitely think of a movie, or idea, that would be great to have them both together.”

David went on to discuss his collaborations with Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, “I don’t want to get into it because it wouldn’t be my next movie, however, it might be problematic since fans might expect a certain kind of relationship, and that would get in the way of creating new characters for them.”

It was previously stated that the former pair was counselled against engaging into a romance while filming Twilight, “So, I have a strange feeling that might be problematic, so it’s only theoretical for now.”

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, on the other hand, went against the grain and dated until things fell apart. They are now claimed to be on excellent terms and are concentrating on their careers and new relationships. Will their fans be able to see them together again?
