Lil Nas X blasts the BET Awards after another painful omission, calling it “an incredible zero nominations again.”

  • Lil Nas X, an American rapper, has expressed his dissatisfaction after being overlooked in the BET Awards nominations.
  • Awards  were released on Wednesday, June 1.
  • The INDUSTRY BABY singer voiced his displeasure with the annual awards show for failing to nominate him for the second year in a row at the 2022 ceremony in a series of now-deleted tweets sent on Wednesday.

“Thank you for the bet prizes.” Once again, an incredible 0 nominations. On the opening day of Pride month, he stated in his first tweet, “black greatness!”

When a fan questioned why he thought he should have been nominated, the rapper answered, “idk maybe 3 of the biggest hits of last year & a highly lauded album…i feel like that should’ve helped me a bit.”

In a subsequent tweet, the openly homosexual MONTERO musician expressed his emotions and stated that he thinks he is fighting an uphill battle of acceptance. “It doesn’t even have to be me,” he added. “I just feel that black homosexual people have to battle to be noticed in this society, and even when we get to the top, mfs strive to make us invisible.”

Meanwhile, Lil received four more Grammy nominations this year and won best music video at the American Music Awards.
