Maria Bakalova of ‘Borat Subsequent Moviefilm’ fame has joined the cast of the upcoming ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3’ with a major part.

The anticipated threequel, starring Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Vin Diesel, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Sylvester Stallone, Karen Gillan, Elizabeth Debicki, Will Poulter, and Chuk Iwuji, recently concluded filming. Daniela Melchior, the breakout star of ‘The Suicide Squad,’ has also joined the cast, it was announced last week.

The first two films in the series, ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ (2014) and ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2’ (2017), had a combined worldwide gross of more than USD 1.6 billion. The release date for Vol. 3 is set for May 5, 2023.
