From the trailer we have gathered that the story revolved around Humayun Saeed’s Marriage. As the trailer starts from a question as old as times, ‘When will you get married?’ Humayun plays the character of Jameel, who is being forced to marry Kubra Khan. However Jameel was very much against the marriage and asked his father to not get him engaged. Moreover he said that he wanted to marry a foreigner.

Mehwish Hayat the Foreigner

Enters Mehwish Hayat, was expected to be a guest at the wedding. However, Hayat and Saeed falls in love. And in comes the drama. The Panchayat ( people who makes all the decisions) aske him to promise that he will not be going to London. Which he does. And this is where the name of the film comes in.

However, breaking the promise he still goes behind Hayat to London, where he unfortunately faces rejection. However, Mehwish comes back to Pakistan for him. In the end we can see her in Bridal dress coming towards Humayun Saeed. The trailer packs a lot of drama. Going back and forth to London and a different love story. Seems interesting, doesn’t it?
