Mick Jagger Says He’s Feeling ‘Much Better’ After Contracting COVID

  • The Rolling Stones have cancelled their Amsterdam engagement after leader Mick Jagger said on Monday that he had gotten Covid, causing the band to cancel their current show.

 

“I’m very sorry that we’ve had to postpone the Amsterdam gig with such short notice tonight,” Jagger stated on Twitter.

“I have sadly recently tested positive for Covid,” the 78-year-old singer tweeted. We want to rearrange the date as soon as possible and respond as soon as possible.”

On June 1, the British band kicked off their European tour with a show in Madrid to commemorate their 60th anniversary.

Jagger, who has been vaccinated against Covid, released a new song, “Easy Sleazy,” in April, which he recorded at home during the lockdown.
