Even Shahrukh Khan fans were impressed by the online series as the Disney Plus series Ms. Marvel continued to garner attention. So how did Kamala Khan succeed in influencing the Badshah fan base in Bollywood?

Our main character Kamala Khan asks out her high school crush in a recent episode of the web series. Of course, Shahrukh Khan, the biggest star in Bollywood, provided the two with a point of connection.

We witness the Pakistani-American youngster inquiring about her Bollywood movie crush, Kamran, played by Rish Shah. Only if it contains legends of Hindi cinema like Shahrukh Khan, the teen lad replies.

Then there were allusions to some of the best Hindi film actors, including the blockbuster movies from the Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham actor. This contains Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge and Baazigar.

We then see Kamala reacted to Kamran’s movie taste saying; “It’s not a surprise you like Baazigar, it’s only SRK’s best work.”

SRK fever is pretty strong among the show’s creators. With one of the show’s co-writers Sana Amanat said they are; “Willing to film the episodes again if Shahrukh Khan wants to be part of the Marvel Studios projects.”

Sana Amanat is the author behind the comic series. However, she has co-written the web series along with alongside Bisha K. Ali.
