Rebel Wilson put on a defiant display as she shared loved-up snaps with her girlfriend Ramona Agruma, days after hitting out at an Australian newspaper for trying to ‘out’ her sexuality.

The 42-year-old actress is now on a sun-drenched vacation in Italy and posted a photo of herself holding hands with her “Disney Princess” on Instagram on Saturday.

In a gorgeous yellow maxi dress, Rebel Wilson beams from ear to ear and flaunts her substantial weight loss, while Ramona cuts a stylish figure in a black Prada suit with white piping.

She completed the look with a gold shoes and a Dior tote bag.

“ciao bellas,” Rebel captioned the photo, which showed the couple looking happier than ever.

“So happy for you love!” said Paris Hilton, while Vas J Morgan added a stream of red heart emojis to Rebel’s image.

The couple’s vacation comes only days after the Sydney Morning Herald attempted to write a story about her sexuality, putting them in the spotlight.

Last week, the Pitch Perfect star came to Instagram to announce that she had met her “Disney Princess,” to which she was greeted with cheers and well wishes.

Speaking about her love life, the actress shared a snap of her and the fashion and jewellery designer with the caption: “I thought I was searching for a Disney Prince… but maybe what I really needed all this time was a Disney Princess.”

For good measure, she added the caption: “#Loveislove”.

In a tweet, Rebel thanked fans for their support, and wrote: “Thanks for your comments, it was a very hard situation but trying to handle it with grace.”

In March, the two were seen together at the Vanity Fair Oscars Party, where they both looked stunning.

While Rebel appears to have never felt the need to ‘announce’ her relationship, the Sydney Morning Herald appears to have given her little choice, giving her only two days to respond to questions about her sexuality.

However, when the actress decided to take control of the story surrounding her love life, the private columnist, who is openly homosexual himself, became enraged.

He claimed Rebel had “gazump” the narrative and questioned her sexuality by bringing up her ex-boyfriend.

The LGBTQIA2S+ community and sympathisers were outraged by the piece, claiming that the paper and journalist had no right to push Rebel’s hand.

Bevan Sheilds, the editor of the publication, issued a statement denying any wrongdoing and wishing the couple well.

Hornery has also commented on his original piece, expressing his thoughts on the “tone” of the song.

In an editorial that followed Sunday’s story, Hornery added, “I genuinely regret that Rebel has found this hard”

“That was never my intention. But I see she has handled it all with extraordinary grace.”

He added that, “As a gay man I’m well aware of how deeply discrimination hurts. The last thing I would ever want to do is inflict that pain on someone else.”
