Billy Bob Thornton will star in the forthcoming high-concept thriller ‘Role Play,’ directed by Thomas Vincent, starring Kaley Cuoco and David Oyelowo. According to rumours, manufacturing will begin in Berlin next month.

Cuoco and Oyelowo star as a married couple whose lives are flipped upside down as truths about each other’s pasts are uncovered.

Thornton’s character’s specifics have been kept under wraps.

Andrew Baldwin also contributed to the script, which was written by Seth Owen.

Thornton, 66, is most known for his role in the thriller ‘Goliath,’ and he will next be seen in the film ‘The Gray Man,’ which also stars Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans. In addition, the actor will star in and co-write Taylor Sheridan’s film ‘Land Man.’

Earlier, The Gray Man film is based on Mark Greaney’s novel of the same name, which cost over $200 million to make. According to the official movie description, “‘The Gray Man’ is CIA operative Court Gentry, aka, Sierra Six played by Gosling. Plucked from a federal penitentiary and recruited by his handler, Donald Fitzroy (Billy Bob Thornton), Gentry was once a highly-skilled, Agency-sanctioned merchant of death. But now the tables have turned and Six is the target, hunted across the globe by Lloyd Hansen played by Chris Evans, a former cohort at the CIA, who will stop at nothing to take him out.”
