Selena Gomez has revealed she felt “so honoured” to be a part of Britney Spears’ wedding to Sam Asghari. 

The couple, who have been together since late 2016, married in front of 60 guests in Los Angeles, including Madonna, Paris Hilton, Donatella Versace, and Drew Barrymore, among others.

Gomez has now opened up on how it felt to be a part of the event.

Selenaa Gomez shared on Instagram on her Story, writing: “Congrats Britney!! So honoured to have been part of your wedding day. Love you!!”

For the wedding, Gomez wore a strapless blue jumpsuit.

Meanwhile, Spears is said to have worn three different clothes throughout the day, including a Versace off-shoulder wedding gown with a flowing train and veil.

Photos from the celebration on Thursday can be seen here. Spears completed her ensemble with a white choker necklace and lace-trimmed short mesh gloves. Her golden hair was styled in free waves.

The social media posts follow rumours that Spears’ first husband, Jason Alexander, crashed the wedding.

Alexander was streaming the altercation on Instagram, according to report, and the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department responded for a trespassing call.

“She’s my first wife, my only wife,” said Alexander to security. “I’m her first husband, I’m here to crash the wedding.”

In 2004, Spears married Alexander, but the marriage was annulled 55 hours later.

Prior to their brief marriage, the two were childhood friends.
