Vaani Kapoor has just posted a new poster of her character from the upcoming movie Shamshera, which will be released on June 24, 2022. The actress from Chandigarh’s Kare Aashiqui identified herself as “Sona.” Ranbir Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt both play significant roles in this year’s most anticipated movie. Karan Malhotra is in charge of the historical action movie, which is made by Aditya Chopra and Yash Raj Films.

The actress looks really lovely on the poster. “I play the character of Sona, the most sought-after travelling performer of India in the 1800s.” Vaani stated when asked about her part in the movie. “Sona has a strong willpower, she’s confident, a go-getter yet has her own emotional vulnerabilities. She’s definitely one of the most refreshing characters I have played on screen.”

Vaani shared the official poster with the following caption: “She is relentless and has a heart of gold. She is Sona! #ShamsheraTrailer Out Tomorrow. Celebrate #Shamshera with #YRF50 only at a theatre near you on 22nd July.” 

Fans are eager to see Vaani and Ranbir together on screen for the first time because they are one of the newest Jodis to appear on the big screen in 2022. The fictional city of Kaza serves as the setting for the historical drama, which takes place in the 1800s in central India.

On July 22, 2022, the movie is scheduled for release in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. Four years after the debut of his 2018 blockbuster, Sanju, Ranbir is back in theatres with Shamshera.
