  • Stranger Things 4: Season 2 got its official trailer on Tuesday.
  • The two Vol. 2 episodes will have a combined length of approximately four hours.
  • The trailer is set to “Running Up That Hill,” a 1985 Kate Bush song that just hit the charts more than 30 years ago.

Stranger Things 4:  Vol. 2 trailer was kept under wraps, which meant it wasn’t shared with the media until Tuesday morning, when it was released for everybody to view online. There’s a lot to take in from the trailer, but in a recent interview, producer-director Shawn Levy appeared to sum it up best.

He stated, “Having seen both those finale episodes, they are as emotional as they are cinematic,” added, “Holy shit, they are definitely a treat for the eyes, but they punch you right in the heart. So, that’s what I’ll say about that.”

Stranger Things: Season 1 garnered highly positive reviews, earning an 89 percent on Rotten Tomatoes. The premiere of the first seven episodes of the season also set a Netflix streaming record.

The trailer notched over 286.79 million hours of viewing time worldwide from May 25 to 27, according to the streamer’s own assessment. Season two of Bridgerton, which had 193 million hours of viewing time on its premiere weekend in March, was the previous record-holder.
