The iconic animated TV series and comics “The Archies” will be adapted into a Bollywood film by Zoya Akhtar. Suhana Khan, Janhvi Kapoor’s sister Khushi Kapoor, and Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda will all make their acting debuts in the highly awaited film.

When it comes to The Archies, Zoya has already mentioned that she is really concerned about the project. “I’m currently shooting The Archies as a feature film, and that hopefully will be out next year. The characters are iconic and globally loved, which is also why I am a little nervous. I have to make sure the film stokes the nostalgia of a generation that grew up on the comic, and yet resonates with young adults today,” Zoya stated to the media. The Archies will be available on Netflix in the coming year.

Zoya posted a photo of the word ‘WRAP’ written in LED lights. The image was really pleasing to the eye. “It’s A Sign #schedulewrap #thankyouooty,” Zoya wrote with the post, wittily and lovingly. For the uninitiated, this segment of the film was shot in Ooty. The post drew a lot of attention from celebrities.
