While riding Pirates of the Caribbean, parkgoers experienced some technical issues. The ride was reportedly reopened an hour late with a 45-minute wait. According to their sources, park officials reworked the ride’s area to improve crowd flow. According to reports, the ride closed and reopened twice before 2 p.m., but social media users claimed there were four.

The California park has had Pirates of the Caribbean since 1967. It closed on March 14 for refurbishment and was originally scheduled to reopen in “summer 2022” On July 1, thousands of parkgoers flocked to see the Johnny Depp attraction.
