The woman who was seen with Johnny Deep is “a member of the staff” working on Depp’s upcoming movie, “Jeanne du Barry,” a source with knowledge of the situation told Fox News Digital.

Following his legal dispute with his ex-wife Amber Heard, this film will be the actor’s first performance on a massive display.

Previous to his performance at the Umbria Jazz Festival in Italy, photos of Depp with the redhead appeared, leading to rumors that the “Pirates of the Caribbean” actor had started a new relationship. The opposite appears to be true.

“She is his French teacher and there is no romantic connection whatsoever,” the source further explained.

According to IMDB, Depp will play Louis XV in the movie, which is presently in pre-production. “Jeanne du Barry” will depict Jeanne Bécu’s life as Louis XV’s final appointed mistress.

Additionally involved in the project are the actors Mawenn, Noémie Lvovsky, and Pierre Richard.
