The recent nude photograph of actor Ranveer Singh and the uproar that followed it have been discussed by actress Kareena Kapoor. In a recent interview, Kareena Kapoor stated that Ranveer’s photoshoot is a “open ticket for everyone” to discuss and debate. She added that because “everyone has an opinion on everything,” individuals have a lot of spare time.

After taking nude photos for the global publication Paper Mag, Ranveer found himself at the centre of a controversy. He also shared some of his nude photos from the shoot on Instagram a day later. In Mumbai, a FIR was launched in response to a complaint from an NGO that claimed he had “hurt the sentiments of women in general and insulted their modesty through his photographs”.

In conversation with Indian media, Kareena said, “I think bolne ke liye sabko bolna hai (I think people say it for the sake of saying). It is an open ticket for everyone to discuss and have debates. I feel like everyone has a lot of free time too because everyone has an opinion on everything. I don’t know why it is such a big take. Like I said, it just proves that everyone has a lot of free time.”

Other B-town celebrities also commented on Ranveer’s nude photoshoot.

Janhvi Kapoor said, “I think it is our freedom and I don’t think anyone should be penalised for their artistic freedom.”

Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt, Arjun Kapoor, Vidya Balan, and Swara Bhasker showed their support to Ranveer.

The following movie featuring Kareena will be Laal Singh Chaddha, starring Aamir Khan, Mona Singh, and Naga Chaitanya. The movie is scheduled for August 11 release. She also just finished filming her OTT debut project under Sujoy Ghosh’s direction. The Devotion of Suspect X, a Japanese novel with Jaideep Ahlawat and Vijay Varma in the key characters, served as the inspiration for the movie.
