After alleging that Pete Davidson broke things off with her over text messages in 2020, Olivia O’Brien claims she never dated him.

She complained in an Instagram Story on Friday that “news outlets are putting stuff I said in an interview (after being asked a VERY specific question) wayyy [sic] out of context.” “I never said that I was dating someone. Stop attempting to stir up strange drama about a text I sent to someone two years ago. the Christ Jesus.

The 28-year-old singer then posted a second Instagram Story, turning down the camera and pleading with viewers to “watch the f-king interview or stop your god damn mouth.”

Not only O’Brien refuted her own assertions, but others did so as well.

On Wednesday, Davidson’s representative informed Page Six, “There is no truth to this. They frequently hung out and were pals.

On Wednesday’s episode of the “BFFs” podcast, the “Josslyn” singer addressed accusations that Davidson broke up with her in order to date “Bridgerton” actress Phoebe Dynevor.

Dave Portnoy, the creator of Barstool, saw the original report that was circulated by celebrity gossip website Deux Moi and stated, “I have it on good authority that pete and phoebe are in fact an item.

“He ended things with B-list popstar/influencer he had been seeing beforehand for phoebe.”

O’Brien told Portnoy that she didn’t think “anyone knew about that,” saying that it happened “a long time ago.” Despite the alleged breakup, she still thought he was a “nice guy.”

“He’s hot and he’s really funny,” she added. “And he’s really sweet. He’s a really sweet guy.”

Although Dynevor and the “The King of Staten Island” star never publicly acknowledged their relationship, they were frequently photographed together between April and June 2021. In July of the same year, they came to an end.
