Samuel L. Jackson dethroned Robert Downey Jr. as the highest-earning action performer. The actor has made a cumulative $18.93 billion from his action films, according to the UK-based price comparison website Uswitch. While RDJ’s action movies have made $10.45 billion in total.

Following  Samuel L. Jackson and Robert Downey Jr. in terms of gross box office receipts are Elizabeth Olsen from Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness ($5.73 billion) and Zoe Saldana from Guardians of the Galaxy ($8.37 billion). Chris Evans, better known as Captain America, comes in at number five, with $5.23 billion in total revenue from his flicks.

The actor has had a variety of action parts in movies, including Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard, Kong: Skull Island, Die Hard 3, The Negotiator, Star Wars, and more, Downey Jr. may have made a lot of money from his adored Iron Man character.

Marvel and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumia will include him in their next MCU films. While Robert Downey Jr. will be in movies like “Oppenheimer” by Christopher Nolan, “All-Star Weekend,” and more.

Earlier, he received five NAACP Image Awards, as well as seven nominations. For his appearances in ‘A Time To Kill,’ ‘Coach Carter,’ ‘Mother and Child,’ ‘Django Unchained,’ and ‘Incredibles 2’ he is a vocal supporter of civil rights and an outspoken campaigner for Alzheimer’s and cancer research. He has raised money and awareness for a variety of charities. and got Oscar nominations for best-adapted screenplay for “Heaven Can Wait” in 1978 and “Primary Colors” in 1999.
