Steph Curry contacted after being chosen to host the 2022 ESPY Awards Peyton Manning was one of the first people, and now he’s spilling the beans about their conversation.

The four-time NBA champion chatted with ET’s Kevin Frazier on the L.A. red carpet. When the opportunity to host the ESPYs presented itself prior to Thursday’s ceremony, Live claimed that he felt obligated to get in touch with the iconic NFL player.

Naturally, Manning has previously hosted the ESPYs. He has also become one of Hollywood’s most sought-after athletes for commercials, and his numerous Saturday Night Live appearances have shown his comedic talents to the fullest. Therefore, it is easy to comprehend why Curry wanted to contact him.

Peyton, in Curry’s opinion, was enormous. He was one of the first persons I contacted as soon as the opportunity crossed my mind. He was amazing. He had an amazing stage presence, and the material was fantastic. The best course of action was to just accept it. Be sincere. And it will keep happening. Take pleasure in it.

Curry has also communicated with another former ESPYs host. Drake. The rapper told Curry about his enjoyable time serving as the event’s host in 2017, the NBA player said earlier this week, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Curry urges attendees to be ready for everything when the ceremony starts at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles.
