Yazmin Oukhellou, a star of The Only Way Is Essex, is reportedly in the hospital following a car accident in Turkey that claimed the life of her friend Jake McLean.

The Sun newspaper reported that their car slammed onto a cliff in the Bodrum vacation destination.

Oukhellou made her Towie debut in 2017, and the reality TV show featured photos of her romance with James Lock.

Harry Derbidge, a Towie actor, shared photos of himself and Oukhellou on his Instagram stories and wished the actress a swift recovery.

A Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Office spokesman said: “We are supporting the family of a British man who died in Turkey and is in contact with the local authorities.

“We are also providing support to the family of a British woman who has been hospitalized.”
