Sang e Mah, which featured Atif Aslam in his television debut, attracted a large audience and ran as well as finished on a very good note. Other notable performers included Noman Ijaz, Sania Saeed, Samiya Mumtaz, Hania Aamir, Kubra Khan, Hassan Noman, Omair Rana, and Zaviyar Noman Ijaz.

Haji Marjan and Zarsanga commit suicide as the story comes to a close. Even though the conclusion was very powerful, it was also very unexpected, and many people weren’t happy with it because they felt that such powerful characters shouldn’t have been shown killing themselves, defeating the purpose of portraying Zargan and Haji Marjan as these larger than life and powerful people.
