Margot Robbie feels insulted by Lady Gaga’s choice to play Harley Quinn in the sequel to the popular film Joker.

On Friday, Lady Gaga posted a confirmation of her participation in the upcoming “Joker: Folie à deux” on her Instagram page.

The starring role in Joker: Folie à deux has apparently upset the Barbie star, who has already portrayed the legendary figure in multiple films, including the Suicide Squad.

According to a source close to the actor, Lady Gaga replacing Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn in the Joker sequel is a prank.

The insider continued, “Every real actor in Hollywood should be afraid that they may be supplanted by some pop culture sensation who hasn’t paid their dues.”

The insider stated, “Margot is humiliated, not outraged over the choice. It’s more important to choose a candidate who will garner the most media attention than to select the most skilled candidate.

After Gaga announced on her Instagram page that she will be appearing opposite Joaquin Phoenix in the Todd Phillips-directed movie, this happened.

On October 24, 2022, the much-awaited thriller will be released in theatres.
