After that, she was nominated for a Filmfare Award for Best Actress for her performance as the movie’s titular aviator, Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl (2020). Here is how Janhvi Kapoor reacted when filmmaker Homi Adajania recently expressed his wish to collaborate with her.

Filmmaker Homi Adajania made his directorial debut with Being Cyrus (2006), an English-language psychological drama. He followed this with the commercially successful Hindi-language romantic comedy Cocktail (2012). After this Adajania directed the satire Finding Fanny.

Notably, he has stated a wish to collaborate with Janhvi Kapoor. Adajania commented in an Instagram story today, ‘Chal buddy, let’s do some work together at some time,’ beside a lovely snapshot of himself with the actress. Janhvi responded, ‘Here’s praying for that moment to come ASAP,’ and added a crossed-fingers emoji.

Homi Adajania’s Work Front

Work wise, Adajania’s last project Angrezi Medium, starred Irrfan Khan, Radhika Madan and Deepak Dobriyal which was released on March 12, 2020. Since then, he has done no films.

Janhvi Kapoor’s Professional Career:

Janhvi Kapoor will co-star in Mili, a remake of Helen, with Sunny Kaushal. Kapoor has also signed up for the sports film Mr and Mrs Mahi, starring Rajkummar Rao, and the action flick Bawaal, starring Varun Dhawan.

In addition, the Dhadak actress was recently photographed outside the Mumbai headquarters of Maddock Films, a major and well-known film production firm. She gracefully waved at the photographers as she stepped outside the office and boarded her car.
