The Netflix sensation Stranger Things took home the Outstanding Music Supervision Emmy Award at the 2022 Creative Arts Emmy Awards.

Nora Felder, the series’ music supervisor, won an Emmy for the episode Chapter Four: Dear Billy, which included the Running Up That Hill by Kate Bush song.

The program has been nominated for the prize four times, but this is the first time it has actually been awarded.

The song had an uptick in popularity following the release of season four of the horror sci-fi series earlier this year, making the classic tune from the 1980s a smash once more.

The song began reaching the top positions on the music charts, debuting in the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 and peaking at No. 1 on both the UK singles chart and iTunes.

By July, the video of the song had hit 100 million YouTube views. Metallica’s Master of Puppets enjoyed a resurgence in popularity during Stranger Things season four.
