After Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II’s burial service on Monday, Prince William and Kate Middleton made their first public appearance today.

The newly appointed Prince and Princess of Wales met with volunteers and members of the support staff to express their gratitude for their assistance with the Queen’s committal service at Windsor Castle.

The royal couple arrived at Windsor Guildhall to express their gratitude to the employees and volunteers for their assistance during the Queen’s funeral in St. George’s Chapel.

William and Kate wore all-black outfits as they observed the Majesty’s death period of mourning, which will be observed until Monday.

William continued his royal responsibilities from yesterday by giving a pre-recorded speech at the Earthshot Prize meeting in New York.

Due to the passing of his grandmother, the prince postponed his journey to the summit where he was scheduled to participate.

After a historic state burial service in Westminster Abbey on September 19, Queen Elizabeth and the Duke of Edinburgh were put to rest at Windsor Castle.
