He and Tabu attended the trailer unveiling on Monday. They stopped to remember Nishikant Kamat, who directed the first segment, during marketing. Cirrhosis killed him August 2020.

According to Indian Today, Ajay Devgn said, “I want to simply use this time to commemorate Nishi, who helmed the first portion. Ajay said, “However much I speak about Nishi, it won’t be enough. We all miss him. If he was here, we would have all been extremely pleased. But the show must go on.” Tabu remarked, “I want to remember Nishi and how simple he made the entire experience of the first half.”

Abhishek Pathak directed the second portion of this film, which stars Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Shriya Saran, and Ishita Dutta.

Ajay Devgn tweeted Monday, “2 aur 3 October ke baad, duniya 18 November yaad rakhegi. #Drishyam2Trailer #Tabu #AkshayeKhanna @shriya1109 #RajatKapoor @ishidutta #MrunalJadhav @AbhishekPathakk #BhushanKumar @KumarMangat.”
