The newly added cast members join previously revealed actors Indira Varma, Shirley Henderson, Emily Watson, and Chernobyl’s Emily Watson in the series (Obi-Wan Kenobi).

Princess Ynez, the heir to the Golden Lion Throne, will be played by Sarah-Sofie Boussnina, who made an appearance in The Colony.

According to reports, the protagonist would be a young, independent princess who must shoulder responsibility.

The series will also feature Shalom Brune-Franklin (The Tourist) as Mikaela, a Fremen character who works for the royal family while longing for her home planet.

Sister Jen, an emotionally distant acolyte in training at the Sisterhood School, will be portrayed by Faoileann Cunningham (The Northman), and Sister Emeline, another acolyte descended from a line of martyrs, will be portrayed by Aoife Hinds (Normal People). Chloe Lea, who previously starred in Foundation, will play Lila, the Sisterhood’s youngest acolyte, who is incredibly sympathetic.

According to reports, the television series, which is based on the novel Sisterhood of Dune by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson, would follow the Harkonnen Sisters as they establish the Bene Gesserit order and battle forces who pose a threat to humanity’s future 10,000 years in the past.

Dune: The Sisterhood is building up to be an interesting series for fans to look out for when it premieres in the future with a growing roster of outstanding performers joining the long-gestating production based on author Frank Herbert’s legendary universe.

As production gets underway next month, further details about the series will probably become available.
