Meghan Markle’s podcast has drawn new criticism from royal fans, who have dubbed her and Prince Harry the Duke and Duchess of Netflix. Cristo Foufas, a TV host, only recently made these allegations.

“I think it’s a question of trust,” he said on the ToDiForDaily podcast. According to reports, Prince William refused to meet them [Meghan and Harry] because he is concerned — and I believe this is a valid concern — that any conversations they have during their time together will end up on a podcast or in Harry’s latest memoir…”

“So I’m not sure if there is a way back — certainly not in their family’s eyes — because there is a fear that that will end up being the next revelation that they’ll try to capitalise on.” And, to be clear, everything they do now is aimed at monetising it — monetising everything.”

Before concluding, he added, “They have unfortunately reduced themselves to cheap reality stars.” And that is exactly what they are now. They are Netflix’s Duke and Duchess.”
