The docuseries starring Prince Harry and Meghan Markle has come up recently since it was alleged that it had been delayed after Queen Elizabeth passed away. According to reports, it was postponed to 2023 after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex reportedly chose to downplay conversations about the royal family.

In light of the recent criticism The Crown Season 5 received, a recent Deadline story also suggested that the docuseries has been delayed until 2023. Nevertheless, according to a Page Six source, Harry and Meghan’s programme may debut in December of this year, about a month after the next season of The Crown reaches the platform, despite rumours of a delay. Deadline said that the recent outcry over the upcoming season of Netflix’s smash series The Crown, which would detail the breakup of Princess Diana and King Charles, was being looked at as the reason for the postponement.

According to sources, former British Prime Minister John Major recently criticised the fifth season of The Crown, which is set to premiere on November 9. He termed its depictions of his time in office “destructive and malicious fiction” and a “barrel-load of nonsense.” Major’s statement was in response to rumours that King Charles III, who was the Prince of Wales at the time, might have hinted that he desired Major’s backing for his mother’s abdication in one of the new season’s plotlines.
