On the important day, Prithviraj Sukumaran surprised his admirers by announcing his reunion with Vysakh. The actor-director team will reconvene for Khalifa after 12 years.

The Prithviraj Sukumaran-Vysakh project is said to be a mass entertainment. Jinu V Abraham’s highly awaited movie is apparently being created on a huge budget. Recent sources predict Khalifa would launch around mid-2023 once Prithviraj Sukumaran finishes his present obligations. Khalifa will be filmed in numerous schedules in UAE, Nepal, and Kerala, the Vysakh flick would have high-octane action scenes like his other works.

On his birthday, Prithviraj Sukumaran said that Khalifa is a vengeance film. “Vengeance will be written in GOLD. Announcing KHALIFA! Directed by Vysakh,” the actor-filmmaker captioned the first look poster of the film on his social media accounts. Prithviraj Sukumarand and Vysakh previously collaborated on the 2010 blockbuster Pokkiriraja, which starred megastar Mammootty.

Prithviraj Sukumaran’s career
The actor-filmmaker is returning to Telugu cinema to play the lead antagonist in Salaar, the upcoming Prabhas directorial directed by KGF director Prashanth Neel. He will also direct Lucifer sequel L2: Empuraa.
