The Zac Brown Band did not play in Vancouver on Friday night after several of its members were turned away at the border.

The Grammy-winning band explained their decision to cancel their performance at Rogers Arena in a statement provided to the website.

“We regret to inform you that we will be unable to perform tonight in Vancouver. We have fantastic fans in Canada, and we would like nothing more than to perform for them “they claimed.

They said, “Charges from more than ten years ago were listed on the records of some of our crew members, but they have since been cleared. Since 2010, our team has performed twice in Canada, making it a regular destination.”

The group claimed that they had “been at the mercy of a single border agent who decides who is permitted in to work, and regrettably, not everyone was able to make it in the nation last night” whenever they have been to Canada.

Added Zac Brown Band, “We are a tribe, a family. We stick together, help one another out, and never abandon anyone. We always play where we are welcomed and loved, and we’re very sorry we can’t be there tonight. As a band, we take pride in arriving with excitement and professionalism.”

More information about what transpired at the border was provided, a source told, “Due to a few of his crew members’ long-since-deleted transgressions, Zac and his band and crew were held in Vancouver for two hours. Zac decided to cancel the show because he couldn’t bear to leave his crew colleagues behind because they are like family. He’s very concerned about it because, despite the fact that he loves his followers, his crew is more like a family to him.”

The band also made the cancellation of the Vancouver performance known via their website.

The country-rock band’s Out in the Middle Tour will take them on the road until November. The first performance in the run was held in Greenville, South Carolina.

Then, on Saturday, they are slated to perform in Portland, Oregon, before moving on to Los Angeles on November 4 and Oakland on November 6.

Prior to their performance in Phoenix, Arizona on November 19, they will also take the stage at the Wonderfront Festival in San Diego, California, on November 18.
