Dalip Tahil cleared up rumours that an actor named Jaya Prada hit him while they were filming a rape scene. It was said to have happened on the set of Aankhree Raasta. Tahil told the person who started the rumour that he doesn’t hold a grudge against them. He did this to set the record straight.

Jaya Prada and Dalip were also in Aankhree Raasta, which was directed by K Bhagyaraj and starred Amitabh Bachchan, Sridevi, Anupam Kher, and Jaya Prada. During the filming, Dalip was asked to act out a scene with Jaya, so the story goes.

Even though the actor said no at first, he was reportedly threatened with his career. According to the report, Dalip was also told that Jaya agreed to the scene, after which he gave his approval. Things changed, though, when Jaya slapped Dalip because he got too excited during the scene.

Dalip recently talked to Bollywood Hungama about the report. He said, “I have been reading over a period of time that I have done a rape scene with Jaya Prada. It says that I got carried away, and then she slapped me. It keeps coming on my Google alert.”

“Let me clarify that I have never shared screen space with Jaya Prada ji. I was keen to do so but never got the chance. No such scene ever happened. I have no animosity against the person writing it. I’d like this person to show me this scene. Now on social media, people are creating situations that probably never existed in the first place. Imagine, such a scene never happened and it’s being reported.”
