A report says that a few weeks before she died, Queen Elizabeth II had Tom Cruise over for tea at Windsor Castle.

Her Majesty, who passed away at the age of 96 on September 8, was disappointed that she had not gotten to meet the Top Gun star during a Platinum Jubilee event.

In July, Cruise, who is 60 years old, went to the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations, which were held to mark her 70th year on the throne. During the celebrations, Her Majesty was not able to meet people because she had trouble moving around.
